FPC's Bobby Bossardet emphasizes collective achievement in recent honor |
Flagler Palm Coast High School Principal Bobby Bossardet has been named the Flagler County School District's Principal of the Year, an accolade he credits to the collaborative efforts of his entire team.
Bossardet, a former state champion wrestler and FPC alumnus, expressed that the award reflects the dedication of teachers, support staff, and students alike. "This truly is one Bulldog family," he stated, highlighting the school's collective commitment to excellence.
Under his leadership, FPC has seen significant academic improvements, transitioning from a C to a B school rating. Bossardet emphasized the importance of a team approach in achieving these milestones, noting the school's focus on enhancing support for Exceptional Student Education (ESE) programs and increasing the number of certified support facilitators.
With over 50 FPC alumni returning as staff members, Bossardet believes this connection fosters a deeper understanding of the community and its students. "These are people that have walked these halls. They understand the community. They understand the kids," he remarked.
Looking ahead, Bossardet aims to continue building on the school's successes by expanding programs that cater to diverse student interests and needs, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive. |
