Engaging the Community in Economic Development and Holiday Festivities |
Palm Coast, Florida, is actively engaging its residents in shaping the city's future through the Prosperity 2035 initiative.
In partnership with the Northeast Florida Regional Council, the city has launched a community survey open until January 15, 2026, inviting residents to share their ideas and priorities for economic development.
Acting City Manager Lauren Johnston emphasized the importance of community input in guiding Palm Coast's growth.
Residents can participate in the survey online or attend upcoming engagement sessions at the Palm Coast Community Center.
In addition to planning for the future, Palm Coast is gearing up for the holiday season with the 14th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony scheduled for November 29 at Central Park in Town Center.
The event will feature a visit from Santa Claus, appearances by the Palm Coast City Council, and the launch of the 20th Anniversary Fantasy Lights display by the Rotary Club of Flagler County.
Families can enjoy food trucks, photos with Santa, kids' crafts, and Santa's Village, complete with hot cocoa and marshmallow toasting.
The Fantasy Lights display will illuminate Central Park nightly from November 29 through December 30, offering a dazzling showcase of lights and holiday scenes.
Admission is free, with donations appreciated to support the Rotary's community service programs.
For more information on these events and to participate in the Prosperity 2035 survey, residents are encouraged to visit the city's official website or contact the Palm Coast Community Center.
Engaging in these initiatives allows residents to contribute to the city's development and enjoy the festive spirit of the holiday season. |
