🚨 Crime & Public Safety

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office announced several arrests in connection with ongoing vehicle burglaries in the Palm Coast area.

Increased patrols are being conducted in residential neighborhoods following multiple overnight incidents.

Residents are reminded to lock vehicles and report suspicious activity immediately.

Meanwhile, Flagler County Fire Rescue recognized first responders who provided life-saving aid during a cardiac emergency earlier this month.

An 80-year-old woman from Palm Coast was killed in a car crash on Belle Terre Parkway near SR-100.

The woman was driving south on Belle Terre Parkway when she attempted to make a left turn onto Pine Haven Drive.

Another car traveling north on Belle Terre Parkway collided with the woman's vehicle, causing her car to spin out of control and crash into a concrete light pole.

The woman was transported to the hospital where she later died from her injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.

The crash is currently under investigation.

Flagler Fire Rescue Honors Heroes with Life-Saving Award

Flagler Fire Rescue recently honored four firefighters/paramedics with the Life-Saving Award for their quick response to a serious medical emergency.

The team successfully revived a patient who was experiencing cardiac arrest, exemplifying their dedication to saving lives in the community.

Their quick thinking and effective teamwork played a crucial role in helping the individual survive.

The award serves as recognition for their heroic efforts and highlights the importance of having skilled and dedicated first responders in our community.
